    The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 26C347000 entitled, "CHP Nimitz Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility (CVEF) - Generator Maintenance Services."  When preparing and submitting a bid, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. The DVBE participation requirement has been waived by CHP for this solicitation. It is mandatory that you view job site before submitting a bid.  A mandatory walk through will be held on April 21, 2026, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. at the CHP Nimitz CVEF located at 4416 Interstate 880, Fremont, CA 94538.  A sign-in sheet will be provided at the walk-through. All prospective bidders must sign-in prior to the start of the walk-through.
