    Description

    The the City of Blair is seeking bids for a 2 inch mill and overlay project on the following segments of road in Blair. Please provide a price for each package as listed below. The City of Blair will provide an area in town to deposit millings if needed.

    Specifications Cold Milling and Asphalt Surfacing

    1. Asphalt concrete shall be 5/8” Surface Coarse Mix Design SPR as specified in the 2020 edition of the City of Omaha Specifications.

    2. Tack coat shall be as specified in the 2020 edition of the City of Omaha Specifications.

    3. Cold milling shall be 2” depth (unless otherwise noted) in accordance with Section 105 in the 2020 City of Omaha Specifications.

    4. The city desires five loads of millings to be delivered to city shop.

    5. Contractor is responsible for all traffic control and all traffic control shall conform to the 2009 Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.

    6. All work shall be completed within 30 calendar days once started. Work must be completed by no later than October 1, 2026

    7. All starting, ending and side jointing shall be ground for a minimum of 2” butt joint.

    8. All quantities are approximate. Payment will be made on final measured quantities.

    9. The contractor and City will mark all areas prior to commencement of construction
