City of Bridge City - 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project

It is the intent of the Contract Documents to provide the requirements and specifications for the construction associated with the City of Bridge City, Texas, 2026 Street Rehabilitation Project.

 

The project generally consists of the installation of surface treatment on selected existing City streets, Jeanette Drive and Shadowdale Street, including roadway preparation, surface treatment application, traffic control, and all related appurtenances required for a complete project, in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.

 

The project scope includes but is not limited to:

 

• Acquire any necessary permits
• Mobilize and prepare site
• Install traffic control
• Fill pothole with HMAC prior to seal coat or overlay
• Pulverize existing road and mix/rework road base. Shape and compact (if awarded)
• Prime coat application (if awarded)
• Construct One‑Course Surface Treatment as shown in plans (if awarded)
• Construct Two‑Course Surface Treatment as shown in plans (if awarded)
• Construct 2” HMA Overlay with tack coat as shown in plans (if awarded)
• Clean up site
