    Description

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF CALABASAS The City of Calabasas (City) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) pursuant to Calabasas Municipal Code Chapter 3.42 and other applicable law.

    The City administers one Landscape Maintenance District (LMD) and four Landscaping and Lighting Districts (LLADs). For more information about these districts, visit the City’s Landscape District Division webpage. For more information regarding the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, visit the state of California code webpage. The purpose of this contract is to provide landscape maintenance services to the common areas within a specific zone of Landscaping and Lighting Act District 22 (LLAD 22).

    The City is responsible for selecting a contractor to provide landscape maintenance services. The City is also responsible for administration and fiscal oversight of all funds collected for the LLAD zone. These contract documents will include instructions and specific parameters for this RFP described below so that a contractor or contractors may be selected to meet the expected effective contract start date of June 25th, 2026.

    Proposals will not be accepted if submitted in any manner other than as prescribed within this RFP. All proposals are due through the City's OpenGov Procurement portal prior to 12:00pm on June 1st, 2026. No late submittals will be accepted by the City.
