The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the
following:
1. Remove existing aeration equipment and replace with new disc aerators, add additional aerators,
make structural modifications to support new aeration equipment and modify effluent weir
box.
2. Remove existing chlorine disinfection equipment and replace with new chlorine disinfection
equipment including scales, feeders, regulators, booster pumps and associated piping.
3. Replace existing clarifier no. 3 influent piping to improve hydraulic efficiency.
4. Replace electrical service entrance switchgear and construct new electrical motor control
center for new and future equipment.
5. Construct various concrete slabs, canopies and enclosures for supporting and protecting
equipment.
