Final inspection to verify proper installation, uniformity, and adherence to building codes and design specifications. Asbestos-containing materials distributed as part of the project must be handled and disposed of in accordance with NYS Department of Labor requirements at 12 NYCRR Part 56 and local regulations. · Installation of New Roof. Removal of the existing roof structure, including all damaged or compromised materials. Inspection of the underlying roof decking for integrity and replacement of compromised sections. Installation of a new, durable, weather-resistant, commercial-grade roof designed for long-term performance. Application of appropriate sealing and insulation to enhance energy efficiency and prevent leaks. Compliance with all relevant building codes and fire safety standards. Final inspection to certify the roof's structural soundness and conformity to safety requirements. · Exterior Painting. Preparation of exterior side wall through cleaning, sanding, and priming as required. Application of high-quality, weather-resistant paint to enhance the building's appearance and protect against environmental elements. Removal of the existing HVAC system and disposal in compliance with environmental regulations. Installation of a new, energy-efficient HVAC system tailored to the building's size and layout. Reconnect supply and return air ducts, gas, electric, and condensate drain. Start-up and test operation of the new unit. 1-year labor, 10-year limited compressor, coil & parts warranty, and limited lifetime heat exchange warranty. Compliance with all relevant codes, including those for environmental and energy performance. · Installation of New Energy-Efficient Doors o Front Entry: Removal and disposal of two (2) existing entry doors in compliance with waste regulations. Compliance with local building codes and accessibility standards. Final inspection to verify functional integrity, energy performance, and adherence to safety requirements. All work must be performed by licensed professionals in accordance with local building codes and regulations. All vendors must provide references and proof of proper insurance, including general liability coverage of at least $1 million and workers' compensation coverage. The City of Dunkirk, the State of New York, and the Housing Trust Fund Corporation must be listed as additional insured. Within 60 days of selection, the property/business owner will enter into a work contract with the lowest responsible vendor. If the property/business owner chooses a quote other than the lowest, reimbursement will be based on the amount of the lowest bid/proposal. Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) are encouraged to submit quotes. An environmental compliance review conducted by LaBella Associates has determined that the project does not pose any health or safety concerns.
