The purpose of this project is to install a new generator and automatic transfer switch (ATS) for the existing water production facility. Envelopes containing the Bidders submission shall be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “City of Lampasas Generator Installation.” The City expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities.
A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
A Bidder’s failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Bids may be held by M&S and the City for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and researching bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.
All bidders shall include an allowance for the SCADA scope with Trac-n-trol.
The SCADA scope will be $11,175.00 and includes:
