    Description

    The City of Medford Emergency Management, is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop and update County-Wide Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) in compliance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 (DMA 2000) and FEMA requirements (44 CFR Part 201). This project will be managed by the City of Medford and funded in part through a Hazard Mitigation Grant (HMGP). The resulting plan will be a multi-jurisdictional plan that includes Jackson County, all incorporated cities within the county [11], and participating special districts [3-5] within the county. Jackson County, in coordination with all cities and special districts within the county, seeks to update its existing NHMP to: • Maintain FEMA approval and eligibility for mitigation funding • Reflect current hazard risks, climate trends, and development patterns • Strengthen coordination across county, city, and special district partners • Identify and prioritize mitigation actions across all participating jurisdictions The plan will build upon previous planning efforts and integrate updated data, stakeholder input, and best practices. Proposals will be submitted electronically through BidNet Direct. Late proposals will be kept by the City but not considered for award.
