This contract shall include all necessary superintendence, labor, materials, equipment, tools, piping, field jointing, cleaning, grouting, excavation, trenching, shoring, fill, grading, backfill, surface restoration, testing, hauling and disposal of excess soils, and incidental items necessary for
the construction of the proposed facilities as shown in the plans and documented in the specifications. The Contractor is responsible for the restoration of all disturbed surfaces, including pavement. All surfaces shall be returned to original condition or better. This includes streets, road surfaces, and
ditches. All restoration shall be completed before beginning work on the next segment of line, according to the plans and specifications. Prior to the start of construction, the Contractor shall submit a construction schedule to the engineer detailing his anticipated activities with estimated dates for the completion of each activity and section. The Contractor shall be responsible for the start up and testing of each system embraced in this
Contract. All systems shall be demonstrated to be functioning at design conditions prior to being considered complete. Where requested or required by the Engineer, the Contractor shall submit test data and certify in writing that the systems tested performed as required by the plans and
specifications at design conditions.
