City of Texas City - Lift Station 6 and 33 Rehabilitation Project

Work of the contract includes:

Lift Station 6:  The scope of work will be to convert this lift station to a submersible station, with new above-ground piping and valves, new pumps, electrical equipment, basin rehabilitation, conversion of dry pit to wet basin, site work, and other items as shown on the plans.  The chain link fence will be replaced with an 8-foot wooden fence.  The existing gravel driveway will be paved. All new electrical equipment will be installed, and SCADA equipment will be added.

Lift Station 33: The scope of work will be to replace all of the station piping and valves, install wet well wall liner, relocate the discharge piping and valves above grade and replace the existing fencing with new 8-foot wood fencing and new chain link gates, and other items as shown on the plans. The existing gravel driveway will be paved and the driveway culvert will be replaced. All new electrical equipment will be installed, and SCADA equipment will be added.  The existing pumps and base elbows will remain in place.  The project includes the purchase and delivery of two spare pumps.

Base Bid for Fence Replacement Includes: The scope of work will be to replace existing chain link fence and gates with new 8’ total height single wythe brick fencing (by Fencecrete or equal) at the FM 2004 Pressure Reducing Station and Rainsong Lift Station. This will include demolition of the existing fencing and gates, and concrete repairs once the new fencing and gates has been installed.  Brick colors will be selected by the City.
