Public notice is hereby given that bids will be received for the City of Richland’s Cityview Drive and Truman Avenue Buildout Project by the City of Richland Purchasing Division until the date and time specified above, at which time bids will be opened and read publicly. This project includes construction of the full width buildout of 632 LF of Truman Ave (from existing end to Cityview intersection) and full width buildout of 1261 LF of Cityview Drive from Truman Avenue to Duportail Street. Work includes installation of curb and gutter (both sides), sidewalks (east / south side), base and top course, HMA asphalt, new streetlights, conduit for future fiber optics and Richland Energy Services power, ADA ramps, storm collection, misc. water and sewer service work, pavement marking & signs, overall site restoration, and other incidental work. This project is estimated at $1,608,000 The City of Richland in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 200d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
