Citywide Wastewater IDIQ RFB No. 7352 Project No. 26082

1. The project is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contract to complete wastewater collection system infrastructure construction at various locations throughout the City. The work will be issued by the City in multiple indefinite quantity individual work orders called “Delivery Orders” that provide specific scope and requirements in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.

       This is a “not to exceed’ contract and may only issue as many Delivery Orders as there is funding to cover.

 

2. The scope of work includes rehabilitation, replacement, and/or point repair of gravity wastewater collection system lines, manholes/structures, service laterals, and force mains using open-cut trenching and/or pipe bursting for lines up to 36-inches in diameter.

 

3. Work includes dewatering through well pointing, control of wastewater flow through bypass pumping, cleaning and televised inspection of pipelines, as needed SWPPP/permit compliance (subsidiary), temporary traffic controls, and site restoration to pre-existing or better conditions.

 

4. Work includes emergency response Delivery Orders that require Contractor to always have management personnel and crews available and on-call during the Contract to provide emergency response on-call services. Refer to Section 01 35 00, “Special Procedures” for details.

 

5. The contract will have an initial duration of one (1) year not to exceed $9,108,000.00, subject to satisfactory contractor performance. Two optional one (1) year extensions with an additional $9,108,000.00 (for a total contract value over three (3) years of $27,324,000.00) may be issued subject to availability of funding and satisfactory contractor performance.

 

6. Each Delivery Order shall be treated as an individual contract and be completed within the stipulated substantial completion days in each DO document.

As part of our procurement policy, a no-contact period is in effect during the solicitation phase.  If the clarification period has ended, a written request can be sent to the Procurement Officer in charge of the solicitation. It should be understood that the City of Corpus Christi has no obligation to address or respond to any clarification submitted after the deadline has passed.
