The Hospital is staffed with highly specialized physicians who are specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Neurology. Furthermore, the Medical Staff Physicians are board certified in areas of specialty such as Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury and Internal Medicine. Without the establishment of a new agreement with CUMC to provide physicians for the hospital, HHH will be left in a position of not having any physicians to treat our patients. This would not only create a patient safety issue but essentially cause the hospital to cease operations Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
