The site will include circulation, parking, and a full complement of middle school athletic facilities - track (with soccer field interior), baseball, softball, and tennis. Q (Clarification on Information to Submit): I apologize if I have overlooked, but is there a page limit, and is there a more detailed outline of what the offeror should submit? For example, a certain number of reference projects? I know it does not note that in the evaluation criteria, but I want to confirm.
A: Refer to the evaluation criteria and Section 5.1 for items the proposal should include for evaluation. There is no page limit to the proposal, and no specific amount of projects required to be referenced.
Q (Proposal Format): Normally "Section 5.1 Proposer General Information" has a breakdown of the format of how the CM should organize the Proposal. That format breakdown is not included in this RFP. Can you please provide the format we should follow in submitting our Proposal?

Q (Site CAD / Building Revit Model): Can you provide access to the site CAD and Building Model?
A: Access to survey CAD can be provided upon shortlisting. No CAD files are provided prior to that time.
Q (Clarification on Proposal Submission): Could you please confirm the appropriate individual to whom the electronic Request for Proposals submission should be addressed?
A: An electronic proposal submission may be addressed to the Procurement Department of Greenville County Schools.
Q (Bonding Information): Is a Bid Bond required for submission of this proposal?
A: The District does not require Solicitation Security for this project. However, the District will require Performance and Payment Bonds for this project once the construction phase is reached. Proposer's should provide evidence of their bonding capability along with the proposal response.
Q (Design Schedule): Could you please provide the intended Design Schedule?
A: Design schedule will not be provided for the purposes of this solicitation. The preliminary design schedule is intended to support the anticipated construction project schedule as described in Section 4.1.
Q (Local Utility): Have conversations been started with the local utility regarding relocation of the transmission lines onsite? Confirm local utility is Laurens Electric
A: Duke Energy is the utility responsible for the overhead transmission line. No conversations to date.
Q (Asbestos & Lead Based Paint): Confirm that all structures onsite are absent of asbestos and lead based paint
A: Surveys have not been taken for asbestos or lead based paint at this time.
Q (Athletic Field Scope): Confirm that the athletic field scope will be delivered concurrently with the school construction.
A: Yes, athletic field scope is to be completed and available for activities concurrent with school construction schedule.
Q (Road Improvements): Would GCS be willing to let the contractor take on the road improvement scope?
A: Road improvement scope is outside Greenville County Schools purview.
