Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Finance and Management is receiving proposals until 1:00 PM EST on February 17, 2026 for Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) Services for the Columbus Police Substation #6 (Easton) project. Project Overview: The selected CMaR will work with the City of Columbus (Owner), and the Architect-of-Record (A/R), who are under separate contract with the City (Owner), to develop construction documents which will lead to several Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) amendments provided by the CMaR after completion of design and competitive bidding by the selected CMaR. It is anticipated that completed construction documents will be issued at one time and that the CMaR may pursue one or more bid scopes/ partial GMP amendments with particular consideration of early ordering of long-lead time products and materials. Note that the total Project will have already been designed and permitted by the time the CMaR is under contract. The project will also include a Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) that will be issued by the City. The CMaR will follow the requirements of the CBA. There will be NO pre-proposal meeting. The last day to submit questions is 1:00 PM EST on February 4, 2026. Phone calls will not be accepted. This ad will be posted on the Bonfire portal within 24 hours of the Vendor Services posting.
