The City of Carson (“City”) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors to provide labor, supervision, tool, equipment, and all incidentals necessary to complete flooring demolition and installation and associated substrate preparation services at the Carson Community Center, located at 801 E. Carson St., Carson, CA 90745.All flooring materials and associated products – including, but not limited to, LVT, carpet tile, wall base, moisture mitigation systems, self-leveling underlayment, and adhesives – will be furnished by the City. This solicitation is strictly for labor: demolition and installation services.The Contractor shall assume fully responsibility for the proper handling, preparation, and installation of all owner-furnished materials, including moisture testing, substrate preparation, crack repair, application of moisture mitigation systems, leveling, and finish flooring installation. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with manufacture specification, applicable ASTM standards, and accepted industry practices to ensure a complete, durable, and warrantable flooring system.
