Scope of work is to provide all necessary labor, material and equipment for the replacement of Community Hospital’s existing brick chiller building façade with a new fiber cement panel rainscreen system. Project will also include repair of an existing trench drain that serves the areaway adjacent to the chiller building as well as repair of existing spalling concrete entrance apron to the chiller building. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 180 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. Accordingly, a deposit check of $49.99 made payable to SUNY Upstate Medical University is required. Deposits less than $50.00 are nonrefundable. Deposits will be waived for certified Minority and Women Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses. A pre-bid conference and project walk-through will be held on June 16th, 2026 at 3:00 PM with all contractors assembled at 4900 Broad Rd, Syracuse, New York 13215 – service parking lot. Pursuant to State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between the University and potential bidders during the procurement process. Failure to adhere to this provision may result in the disqualification under the NYS Procurement Lobbying Act.
