Comprehensive Child Care Learning Platform

The Department of Children and Families (Department), Office of Licensing, Child Care, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) seeking information from interested parties who can provide information about a comprehensive learning platform to include child care credentialing, training, and examination services.

The goal of this RFI is to determine a comprehensive and integrated approach to Florida’s early learning and child care professional development program. This approach should incorporate regulatory requirements and evidence-based practices in the development and revision of courses and exams, support both virtual and in-person learning environments for courses and exams, and provide learning management functionalities and credentialing capabilities. The Department seeks to determine the best method to streamline operations, reduce administrative complexity, and better align training and learning service delivery through a centralized model.
