Exhibit A “Scope of Services”
Scope of work for the foundation to include: Scope of Work Inclusion:
The Scope of Work shall include, but is not limited to, all materials, labor, supervision,
equipment, erection, tools, and all other items required to furnish and install the following:

A. Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing and installation of all cast-in
place concrete work including, but not limited to, footings, foundations, joint sealants, dowels,
concrete curing, formwork, crack joints, construction joints, expansion joints and accessories.
B. Contractor has included all rough and final grading to complete this scope of work.
C. Contractor shall accumulate and remove spoils off site.
D. Included in this scope is all soft digging in close proximately to utilities.
E. Contractor is responsible for providing all structural excavation, backfill, compaction,
dewatering, rough grading, fine grading, and concrete curing to complete this scope of work.
F. It is understood and agreed that this scope of work includes all required ordering, unloading,
hoisting, handling, sorting, placement, inventory, rebar caps and tie-wire necessary for
reinforcing steel, dowels, deformed bars, tie bars, accessories, etc. Contractor is to provide all
necessary support of the reinforcing steel and/or mesh with contact with the earth as required by
the contract documents.
G. All tooled joints, saw cut joints, construction joints and keyways required for this scope of
work are the responsibility of this Contractor including installing any and all sealants in
concrete joints per Contract Documents.
H. Included in this Agreement are all costs associated with the placement of concrete including
pumping, vibrators, concrete buckets, etc.
I. The breaking off of all ties and cutting back of all ties and nails protruding through forms is
included in the contract and shall be done immediately after the formwork stripping operation and
all debris shall be removed from the area and deposited in dumpsters provided by others.
J. Contractor is responsible for restabilization of existing subgrade that may occur to adjacent
property as a result of this Contractor’s operations.
K. Contractor shall protect any surfaces from damage caused by Contractor’s own work
