REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP No. PW- H63029-26CM The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management and inspection services in connection with the following: Construction Management Services for Rehabilitation of Bannister Creek Bridge in the Village of Lawrence, Town of Hempstead PIN 0762.06 The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work’s Construction Management Unit: Highway/Bridge Construction Group for the for Rehabilitation of Bannister Creek Bridge. Services may include providing one Resident Engineer/Office Engineer, one part time CPM Schedule Reviewer and one Construction Inspector as needed for managing all construction related activities, contractor claims, and construction related engineering services. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a two (2) year Agreement with the County. Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The successful Proposer will be required to comply with a 0% DBE goal for this project as per Federal requirements expressed in Title 49 CFR Part 26. All vendors shall submit DBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal.
