The project is also reflected in regional transit capital plans at approximately $40 million (2023 dollars). GoTriangle has initiated environmental review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and anticipates a Categorical Exclusion determination. The project is supported by federal funding sources, including grants for low- and no-emission vehicles and electric charging infrastructure, and additional discretionary funding opportunities may be pursued. GoTriangle will utilize a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) project delivery method for the design and construction of the GoTriangle Building Operations and Maintenance Facility (project).
