    (Readvertisement of the project that was originally advertised in January 2025) The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Phase Construction Manager (CM) Agency services for the Rehabilitate Natural Science Building – Phase 1 project at the State University of New York College at Purchase. The Project is for a full phased renovation of the Natural Science Building which is approximately 108,000 GSF. Constructed in 1972, the building systems are original and have not had any major upgrades. The Project will include full replacement of all interior finishes and components, all MEP systems, laboratory casework and exhaust systems, roof, and elevator, as well as the abatement of hazardous materials. Phase 1 of the rehabilitation of the building will renovate the entire ground level with new shafts connecting to new mechanical penthouse spaces on the roof. The ground level will be renovated to provide program space of the departments of Biology, Environmental Studies and Math and Computer Science. A new Chemical Stockroom and waste storage rooms will be provided. Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing spaces will be provided on the ground level and a new telecommunication room will be built on the Second Floor. The Phase 1 work consists of approximately 26,000 SF on the ground level and work across an additional 10,000 SF on the upper floors. Submissions should emphasize the firm’s significant past experience in providing construction phase CM services for public institutions and institutional clients in a complete and expeditious manner. Design/Pre-Con Phase services are NOT part of this procurement. Construction Phase services will include but are not limited to General services, Marketing and Bidding, Meetings, Construction M/WBE, SDVOB and EEO Services, Scheduling and Time Monitoring, Labor and Safety responsibilities, PLA services, Quality Assurances, and General Warranty/Guarantee Period Services. Construction duration from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion of the construction contract is approximately thirty-nine (39) months [thirty-six (36) month construction duration plus three (3) month closeout period] The current estimated construction budget is approximately $31,382,000.
