    Description

    The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Manager (CM) Agency – Construction Phase Services for the Renovate Corey Union project at the State University of New York at Cortland. The Project is for a renovation of Corey Union, built circa 1967, which will involve a complete interior architectural and M/E/P gut renovation of the 74,000 GSF of the 89,500 GSF building. The remaining area in Corey Union was renovated in 2017 which consisted of the dining area. The renovation is intended to modernize the interior spaces, provide improved ADA accessibility, and enhance student support spaces. The objective of this project is to renovate interior finishes, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The Project includes the removal of hazardous materials and will provide upgrades to meet current code and ADA requirements. The project also includes site work and geothermal well fields in the scope of work. Submissions should emphasize the firm’s significant past experience in providing construction phase CM services for public institutions and institutional clients in a complete and expeditious manner. Construction duration from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion of the construction contract is approximately thirty-seven (37) months [thirty-four (34) month construction duration plus three (3) month closeout period] The current estimated construction budget is approximately $56,106,000.
