Construction of Restroom Facility

The current restroom building at Riverside Park has been identified for replacement. This new bathroom structure would be accessible by ADA standards and would also provide additional storage space for the Parks Department.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Appropriate groundwork.

• An approximately 480 sq ft, multiple-occupant concrete block restroom that includes: three (3) flush toilets, one (1) urinal, and two (2) sinks. (See floor plan)

• Concrete skirt and sidewalks. (1225 sq ft) Include proper sidewalks that link with current sidewalk network and provide ADA accessibility.

• A water fountain and bottle filling station on the outside.

• A storage area with an 8 ft overhead door. (see floor plan)

• Stick built roof trusses with metal roof.

• Appropriate LED lighting.

• The ability to easily winterize.

• Proper ventilation.

• Auto flush fixtures.

• Baby changing station.

• Soild plastic doors with plastic partitions.

• Paint the exterior/interior of the building.

• Epoxy coating on floor

Construction planned to begin in first quarter 2027.

The city requests that the submitted proposal includes a projected timeline to complete construction.

Each responder to this Request for Proposals shall submit (1) copy of their proposal to Noah Flores, Parks Director, City of Lindsborg, P.O. Box 70, Lindsborg, Kansas 67456, on or before July 25, 2026

The City of Lindsborg reserves the right to negotiate with any responder and reject any or all proposals.
