The project consists of demolition of existing gaseous chlorine disinfection equipment including plant piping and chemical injection points; construction of one 12-foot by 12-foot (12’ x 12’) CMU block chemical building and building foundation; bleach disinfection system for the treatment of one (1) existing groundwater well and one (1) existing surface water station, including two peristaltic chemical metering pumps and two spares, one 250-gallon double-walled chemical storage tank, miscellaneous piping, injection points, and appurtenances; coatings; electrical equipment and controls; concrete sidewalk; concrete rip-rap and drainage swale modifications; site restoration including pavement repair and hydromulching; materials testing; and all additional items necessary for a complete and operational system.
