    WORK DESCRIPTION: In general, the work to be performed under these specifications consists of bridge preventative maintenance on Giant Highway Connector UC, 13th Street Overhead, and Richmond Parkway Viaducts (left and rightbridges). The work to be performed on all four bridges includes but is not limited to: cleaning expansion joint, replacing joint seals and/or sheet neoprene for joint seal assemblies, sounding deck, removing unsound concrete, filling spalls and areas of unsound concrete removal with rapid setting concrete, preparing deck for and treating it with methacrylate. In addition, for the Richmond Parkway Viaduct left and right bridges, work to be performed includes but is not limited to: treating deck with polyester concrete overlay.
