    CITY OF WOODSTOCK ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS City of Woodstock Crack Sealing 2026 The Work described in these bid documents consists of performing crack sealing and street sweeping on various streets in accordance with detailed specifications stated in the bid documents. The City of Woodstock will receive sealed bids for the Crack Sealing 2026 project until 10:00 am, Thursday, May 7, 2026. All bids shall be addressed to Woodstock City Hall at 121 W Calhoun Street, Woodstock, IL 60098. Each proposal must be sealed and clearly identified on the outside of the envelope as a “BID FOR CITY OF WOODSTOCK CRACK SEALING 2026”. Bids will be opened at 10:00 am, Thursday, May 7, 2026 at City Hall, or in case bids for more than one City project are being received, as soon thereafter as the business of the City will permit. Award of the bid will be considered at a later meeting of the Woodstock City Council within at least 30 days of the date of receiving bids. Only bids and proposals submitted on forms prepared by the City of Woodstock will be considered. Complete specifications and bid proposal forms may be obtained from Woodstock City Hall, 121 W Calhoun Street, Woodstock, IL or via email by contacting jdell@woodstockil.gov. All bids received prior to the specified date and time, which meet or exceed the minimum specifications, will be considered by the City. The City will review each properly submitted bid and will make a selection based upon price, availability, quality and other features of the bid proposals. Bids submitted after 10:00 am, local time, Thursday, May 7, 2026 will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder. Not less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the City of Woodstock and/or the Illinois Department of Labor, or determined by a court on review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. The successful bidder shall comply with all requirements of the “Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act”, 30 ILCS 570/0.01. The City of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to select the bid that is considered to be the most advantageous to the City of Woodstock.
