    Description

    Purpose of Procurement Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified firm to provide professional consulting services to support the development of a Ten-Year Traffic Safety Infrastructure Plan to the University of Georgia (the State Entity) for the State Entity¿s main campus in Athens, Georgia , as further described in this eRFP. This project is funded through a Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration. The project will develop a data-driven, research-informed safety plan focused on improving safety for all roadway users, with an emphasis on vulnerable road users (VRUs). The selected consultant will support the State Entity¿s Office of Public Safety in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data; conducting technical studies; facilitating stakeholder engagement; and producing a final, publicly available safety plan consistent with federal requirements, no later than June 30, 2028. The University reserves the right to conduct interviews or request presentations with the highest ranked Offeror(s) to support final evaluation and award. The University intends to make a single award.
