The County of Orange, Health Care Agency (hereinafter referred to as “County”), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as “Respondents”) for Crisis Intervention Training for First Responders. The primary goal of Crisis Intervention Training services is to provide training and educational sessions to first responders that review types of mental illnesses, basic intervention techniques to de-escalate mental health crisis, how to keep individuals in mental health crisis safe, ways to reduce trauma for all involved and how to help identify signs and symptoms of behavioral health challenges. Respondents must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth within the RFP and be capable of providing services identified in the Scope of Work herein.
