The intent of this solicitation is to establish a qualified contractor pool based upon responses to this Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP).The City will contract with qualified contractor(s) to perform housing rehabilitation services for eligible residential properties identified through the City of Arlington Housing Rehabilitation Program.This procurement is issued as a Competitive Sealed Proposal (CSP) in accordance with Texas Government Code §2269.403 (Job Order Contracts).The City is utilizing the Job Order Contracting (JOC) method because the work consists of an indefinite quantity of residential rehabilitation, repair, and replacement projects with scopes that cannot be fully defined at the time of solicitation.The City anticipates providing housing rehabilitation services to approximately 50 homes over the next twelve (12) months.In accordance with §2269.403, this solicitation establishes one or more Job Order Contracts under which individual Job Orders will be issued for specific residential properties.The City reserves the right to: • Award contracts to multiple proposers • Establish a pool of qualified Job Order contractors • Limit the number of contractors in the pool to ten (10)Contractors are not guaranteed a minimum number of Job Orders. Establishment of a contractor pool does not guarantee any minimum amount of work or compensation to any contractor.The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFP electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.The City of Arlington exclusively uses Bonfire for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant. The City of Arlington accepts no responsibility for the receipt and/or notification of solicitations through any other means.
