    Description

    THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Non-electronic and e-mail responses WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The response must be submitted in the Supplier Portal no later than the date and time called for in the Finish Time in the Event Details. PURPOSE AND BACKGROUND. The purpose of this Solicitation/Event is to receive responses and award a contract with Suppliers(s) to provide Current Model Year Light Duty Pickup Trucks, Automobiles, and Other Electric Vehicles to the State of Minnesota and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members, on an as needed basis. Subsequent Model Year productions and additional vehicles may be added to the Contract through a fully executed written amendment to the Contract. Brand names or specific manufacturers stated establish a standard only and are not restrictive. The State will consider responses of other makes, models, or brands, which have comparable characteristics of quality, type, and performance. All vehicles offered must be the latest production with new equipment and must include Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) equipment and OEM available options. All equipment purchased under the Contract must meet all current State and federal regulations at time of vehicle production. To be considered for award of any Contract resulting from this Solicitation/Event, the Responder must be: 1.1 A vehicle manufacturer or an entity which meets the requirements defined in Section 6 - Solicitation Terms, Clause 17. Distributor or Manufacturer’s Representative; and 1.2 Capable to receive and process up to one hundred (100) vehicles at any one time. SUBMITTING QUESTIONS. Questions from prospective responders regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to jonathan.moxley@state.mn.us, no later than January 16, 2026, 3:00 PM CT. All questions received by the cutoff date and time will be responded to via an addendum.
