    CFI Contracting, Inc. is actively seeking quotes from certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) for participation in the Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project for the Town of Rotterdam. Summary of Work: The extensive scope includes the construction of a new intermediate pump station and force main, three Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) basins, two tertiary disk filters, and an ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system, as well as the rehabilitation of existing primary settling tanks, belt filter presses, and loadout conveyors. Additionally, the work encompasses the demolition of trickling filters and a sludge holding tank, the installation of a new lime stabilization system and PAC chemical feed system, and the complete integration of a SCADA system. Contractors must perform these upgrades in a specific chronological sequence while maintaining continuous facility operations, adhering to strict environmental permits regarding nearby freshwater wetlands, and complying with federal requirements such as the Davis-Bacon Act and Build America, Buy America.
