City-owned open spaces are comprised of various components, including parks, trails, open space corridors, greenbelts, hillsides, landscaping, and conservation areas. In total, the City performs weed abatement activities on approximately 44 acres in eleven areas across the City. All weed abatement activities performed are required to meet OCFA fuel modification guidelines by July 1 of each year. The City intends to follow the schedule described below during the RFP process, but reserves the right to alter the schedule at any time.
