    Evaluation Criteria

    • Term of Agreement
      1. The resulting Contract shall become effective upon full execution by the City and shall remain in full force and effect for a period of one year thereafter, unless terminated earlier as provided herein.
      2. At the City’s discretion, the Contract created by this request and the resulting quotation will automatically renew for up to four successive one-year terms (each, a “Renewal Term”), unless the Contractor notifies the City in writing of its desire to terminate the Contract.  If extended, the then-current prices shall be applicable during the subsequent Renewal Term unless the Contractor notifies the City in writing of any rate increase 60 days before the expiration date and the City approves the increase with an authorized signature, prior to the end of the then-current term.
      3. By consenting to a Renewal Term, Contractor shall be deemed to affirmatively assert that (i) the City is not currently in default, nor has been in default at any time prior to the Renewal Term, under any of the terms or conditions of the Contract and (ii) any and all Contractor claims, known and unknown, relating to the Contract and existing on or before the commencement date of the Renewal Term are forever waived.

      The Avondale Code Compliance Division is requesting a bid for demolition of all structures and clean-up for the property addressed at 223 S 3rd St, Avondale, Arizona.  Parcel # 623-695-6810

       

      Please ensure your submittal includes the full scope of work listed below. 

       

      Scope of work: 

                Obtain all necessary permits and file asbestos reports (NESHAP) 

                Demolish and remove all structures on site 

                Bring property to grade, existing driveway on eastside of parcel can remain, current fencing can remain unless it would prevent access.

                Remove foundation slab and footings of the primary dwelling.

                Remove slabs, footings, etc. 

                Remove all trash, debris, dead vegetation, overgrown weeds from site (to include all dump and transport fees) 

                Place a berm 3 feet away from the sidewalk that runs along the west and south side of the property.

       

      If awarded, the Contractor will be required to sign the attached Professional Services Agreement (Attachment A).

       

      Demolition Project shall be completed by April 28, 2026.

    • Service Completion

      The resulting Contract shall become effective upon full execution by the City and shall remain in full force and effect until the Contractor has completed all required services no later than 90 days after the Notice of Proceed has been issued, unless terminated earlier as provided herein.

    A: No drawings have been issued for this project.


    Q (Contractor): We are a fence company and maybe there was a keyword in there that sent this to us. Is this something I can get a different contractor involved in either through us or direct to the city? Thanks

    A: No. The contractor will need to file asbestos reports (NESHAP).


    Q (Project Completion Date ): Good morning, in the documents it states that the project is to be completed by April 28 2026. Is this accurate? 1 day after the response due date? Thank you.

    A: This is not accurate. Since the due date was extended, the completion date will be update in another addendum shortly.
