All materials need to be removed and properly landfilled from each area. Asbestos abatement is required for three (3) of the five (5) structures. City Hall located at 110 Main Street, Fort Morgan Pre-Bid Meeting: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the demolition site located at 131 State Street, Fort Morgan, CO. All prospective bidders must attend this pre-bid meeting in order for the City to accept their bid. Delivery of Bids: All sealed bids must be addressed to: City of Fort Morgan Demolition of Streets & Sanitation Buildings Project Attention: Matt Underwood, Assistant City Manager/Director of Community Services - and bear the name of the bidder and their address. The cut-off date and time for questions is Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. It is the responsibility of the prospective responders to contact Matt Underwood at (970) 370-6576 to verify receipt of questions. Based upon such inquiry, the City may choose to issue an Addendum. Opening Date: The opening will not be a public bid opening as it will be subject to staff review of costs, schedule, options, qualifications, possible short list and/or interviews.
