Design-Build and Construction Management for Natural, Outdoor Early Learning Environments

Child Care Associates (CCA) invites the submittal of responses from qualified firms/teams to provide a combination of Landscape Design-Build (D/B) and Construction Management (CM) for natural, outdoor early learning environments for four (4) new build locations. This solicitation will follow a two-phase procurement process.  Phase 1 is focused on qualifications and Phase 2 is focused on the proposal and costs.     

Phase 1 is a request for qualifications (RFQ) process seeking qualified professionals to provide landscape architecture and design services for the 4 projects.   CCA will share its vision of the projects, and Proposers must respond with a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to show how they are qualified to meet the vision of the projects.  CCA will evaluate the SOQ’s based on pre-established criteria to determine the most qualified firms/teams.  The top three (3) to five (5) firms/teams will be shortlisted and move forward in the process to Phase 2.   

Phase 2 is a request for proposal (RFP) process to design, build, and manage the construction of the four (4) new build locations.  CCA will provide full details on specifications, scope, and contract requirements to the shortlisted firms/teams and Proposers must submit technical proposals and cost estimates.  CCA will score the proposals based on evaluation criteria, conduct interviews, and make a selection for the award based on a “Best Value” approach.
