The State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as "SUNY”) is soliciting qualifications from consultants to provide design services for the replacement of the HVAC/Mechanical Systems at the Charles B. Wang Center Building at Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, New York in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook 2526-073MC RFQ (Request for Qualification) and Exhibits. Stony Brook University's Charles B. Wang Center Building, located on Circle Drive was constructed in 2002. The building has been experiencing high humidity issues over the past several years. The University is requesting an assessment of the HVAC systems in the building to address the humidity issues and mechanical equipment failures being experienced. An assessment report is to be provided to SUNY at Stony Brook and to include: equipment/systems tested and assessed, recommendations and a design approach for correcting the humidity issues. Any questions pertaining to this RFQ must be submitted through the sourcing system, on the Q&A board on or before 12:00 pm, January 5th, 2026.
