Contractors desiring to provide services according to the specifications must deliver one (1) sealed copy of their proposals to the Tax Assessor’s Office, 125 Main Street, First Floor, East Greenwich, RI, no later than 2:00 p.m., on April 30, 2026; at which time and place such proposals will be opened and read. Proposals received after said date shall be considered invalid without exception. Tangible Personnel Property is not part of this Statistical Revaluation. Each sealed envelope shall be plainly marked “RFP- Development & Implementation of Statistical Revaluation Program”. All information pertaining to the contractor’s technical and management approach to completing this project, as well as the proposed cost, timetable and staffing plan, shall be presented in the proposal. The proposal must address, at a minimum, each of the issues set forth in the Request for Proposals in order to be considered responsive. DO NOT SUBMIT A COPY OF THIS REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AS PART OF YOUR PROPOSAL. ANY PROPOSAL THAT DOES NOT RESPOND TO EACH ISSUE IN THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SHALL BE REJECTED BY THE TOWN AS NON-RESPONSIVE. All Contractors interested in providing the Revaluation Services set forth are required to fill out the enclosed Proposal Form. THE TOWN OF EAST GREENWICH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS OR ANY PARTS THEREOF; TO WAIVE ANY FORMALITIES AND TECHNICALITIES; AND TO ACCEPT THAT BID WHICH THE TOWN AND ASSESSOR DEEM TO BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE TOWN, WHETHER OR NOT IT IS THE LOWEST DOLLAR BID.
