    Description

    DHR | RFP 2026-01 Workers’ Compensation Division General Investigation and Special Investigation Unit Services -- This Request for Proposals (hereinafter “RFP” or “Solicitation”) is being issued by the Department of Human Resources (hereinafter, “DHR” or “City”). DHR, on behalf of all City Departments, is seeking qualified suppliers (“Proposers”) to provide proposals (“Proposal”) for licensed private investigation services to be performed for City’s self-insured Workers’ Compensation Program. Proposers may apply to one or both of the service areas below: 1. General Investigation Services; and/or, 2. Special Investigation Services. -- Anticipated Contract Term A contract awarded pursuant to this Solicitation shall be non-exclusive with an original term of three (3) years. The City at its sole, absolute discretion, shall have the option to extend the term for up to seven (7) additional years for a total of ten (10) years. -- Not to Exceed Amount The not to exceed (“NTE”) amount for a contract awarded pursuant to this Solicitation cannot be anticipated at the time of this Solicitation but shall be based on the selected Proposal. This amount is based on City’s estimated spend over the advertised contract term. Should City’s actual spend exceed its estimated spend, City may in its sole discretion increase the contract NTE accordingly. -- LBE Subcontracting Requirements were waived by the Contract Monitoring Division. -- Schedule -- Request for Proposals Issued Wednesday, January 28, 2026 Written Questions Due Date Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2pm PT Proposal Due Date Wednesday, March 5, 2026, at 2pm PT Notice of Intent to Award Tentatively set for Tuesday, April 7, 2026 ** All dates shown in the schedule are considered tentative per the RFP For complete Solicitation details, carefully review all attached documents.
