Diesel Engines and Reduction Gears for Memorial and Houston Pump Station (Pump Stations #1 & #13)

The scope of this Contract and its Documents are limited to the supply and delivery of the required equipment in accordance with the specifications associated with Jefferson County Drainage District No. 7 (DD7) Diesel Engines and Reduction Gears for Memorial and Houston Pump Stations (Pump Stations #1 & #13).

 

The project scope for the bid includes:

 

• To provide and deliver a total of five (5) marine auxiliary or propulsion engines.
  1. Two (2) 1000 hp engines and one (1) 600 hp engine will be provided for PS #1.
  2. One (1) 500 hp engine will be stored by the District as a spare.
  3. One (1) 290 hp engine will be provided for PS #13.
• To provide and deliver a total of five (5) engine reduction gears.
  1. Two (2) engine reduction gears for 1000 hp engines will be provided for PS #1. These gears will have a reduction ratio of 1.50:1.
  2. One (1) engine reduction gear for a 600 hp engine will be provided for PS #1. This gear will have a reduction ratio of 1.48:1.
  3. One (1) engine reduction gear for a 500 hp engine will be provided for the spare engine. This gear will have a reduction ration of 1.48:1.
  4. One (1) engine reduction gear for a 290 hp engine will be provided for PS #13. This gear will have a reduction ratio of 1.47:1.
