    Disabilities Consulting Services/Scope of Work: Disabilities Consultant will conduct observations and facilitate the development and implementation of behavior support plans for children with special needs in the MAOF Head Start/Early Head Start ProgramDisabilities Consultant must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst or Credentialed in Pupil Personnel Services.Consultant shall be responsible for providing services, which include:► Consultation regarding children with special needs.► Conduct observations and support in the classroom setting► Meet with staff as needed► Observing the environment and providing suggestions► Provide modeling and coaching► Facilitates the development of action plans► Facilitate reflective conversations► Support site implementation of action plans► The Contractor will work directly with the child and staff to implement the strategies directly.► Provide parent education seminars or workshops as needed.► Compliance with requirements of the Federal Head Start Performance Standards.► Early Head Start may request consultation meetings with this being included in the consultation time contracted.► Services will be performed in English and Spanish, depending on the language most comfortable for the client.► Provide Parent Education seminars or workshops as needed.►Provide Staff training and technical assistance as needed.Travel on behalf of MAOF:At the time of the agreement, there were no needs identified for the contractor to travel outside of MAOF's Service Area. Should the need for the contractor to travel on behalf of MAOF, an amendment to this contract will be initiated at the time when the need is identified and executed prior to travel.MONITORING FOR PERFORMANCE QUALITY OF SERVICES IN ADHERENCE TO SCOPE OF WORK:The Program Manager or Director will direct the work and oversee performance and completion of tasks by consultant. This will be done through review of monthly accountability service log, notes entered in Child Plus and communication maintained with those involved with the children and families.
