    The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) is pleased to announce the opportunity to develop a bat roosting habitat suitability analysis (HSA) and rapid habitat assessment framework for the management of bat roosting habitat throughout Midpen’s sphere of influence. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications and Proposals is to solicit individuals or firms to work with Midpen to create a detailed HSA that identifies high, medium, low, and unsuitable bat roosting habitat for different roosting categories (crevice/cavity roosts, foliage roosts, cave/cave analog roosts) within natural habitat in Midpen’s jurisdiction to inform bat survey strategies and mitigation efforts.
