    Description

The Delaware Department of Transportation (“DelDOT”) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors, including municipalities, to deploy, operate, and maintain public electric vehicle (“EV”) charging in affiliation with the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (“DOT”) Federal Highway Administration(“FHWA”) National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (“NEVI”) Program. This initiative focuses on expanding public EV charging capacity. This RFP will look to expand the number of chargers located along the designated alternative fuel corridors (“AFCs”). In addition, DelDOT will award locations focused on expanding EV charging to areas of the State that have a high number of multifamily buildings (e.g., apartments and condos) and others without access to private, overnight charging. Projects will provide Level 2 and/or DC fast charging (“DCFC”) stations in publicly accessible locations, such as parking facilities at public buildings, schools, parks, or privately managed sites that serve the local community.DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY NOTICEThe Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is committed to ensuring that its digital services, content, and documents are accessible to all users and is actively working to comply with applicable federal and state accessibility requirements.
