ANNOUNCEMENT CITY & COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC WORKS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS As-Needed Environmental Contracting Services 2026 Sourcing Event ID# 9638 San Francisco Public Works (Public Works), City and County of San Francisco (City), intends to award contracts to a minimum of three (3) responsive, responsible, and qualified Contractors to create a prequalified pool to provide Environmental Contracting Services on an as-needed basis. Qualified Environmental Contractors shall perform work to support construction-related tasks in areas where contamination, environmental, or public health and safety issues are of concern. Work will involve hazardous materials and waste handling and/or work in and around potentially hazardous or environmentally sensitive areas. The product of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the selection process will be a Master Agreement (Contract) with each selected company or team. Each Contract will have a three-year term with a not-to-exceed (“NTE”) value of $3,000,000. The City reserves the right to change the number of contracts and contract amount limits to be awarded. Since this is an “As-Needed” contract, award of a master agreement does not guarantee that the selected companies will perform all or any portion of the services described in this RFQ, nor does it guarantee that the maximum amount will be expended. The maximum contract dollar amount does not represent a guaranteed revenue source for any of the selected companies. Questions regarding the RFQ must be submitted no later than December 16, 2025, 4:00 P.M. by email to the Contract Administrator at: ContractAdmin.Staff@sfdpw.org. Submittals will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. Pacific Time, February 5, 2026. Contractors shall submit Proposals as specified and required in the RFQ package. Late submittals will not be considered.
