Eagle’s Nest Pump Station Ground Storage Tank and Site Improvements

ADVERTISEMENT FOR COMPETITIVE SEALED PROPOSALS

RFP 2026-006

 

Pursuant to chapter 2269 of the Texas Government Code, the City of Burnet seeks competitive sealed proposals, in envelopes addressed to the City of Burnet, 301 E Jackson St., Burnet, Texas 78611, for the Eagle’s Nest Pump Station Ground Storage Tank and Site Improvements Project, PID: CIPWT-2022B, in the City of Burnet, Texas, which will be received at the above-mentioned address until 11:00 A.M., May 7, 2026. At such time the proposals will be publicly opened and the name of each offeror and the corresponding price component of each proposal will be read aloud. Bids will be opened in-person.

 

Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes and marked “Eagle’s Nest Pump Station Ground Storage Tank and Site Improvements Project.”

 

The Contract Documents and Specifications are available at the City of Burnet. Questions and requests for additional information shall be sent via CivCast; details below. For this project, all bidders will be required to accept Addenda and other pertinent information by email, as well as provide written acknowledgement of Addenda as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.  No questions or requests for additional information will be accepted later than 5:00 p.m., May 4, 2026.

 

Bid packages will be available on CivCast under ID: CIPWT-2022B, and at the City of Burnet City Hall, located at 301 E Jackson St, Burnet, Texas 78611, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for viewing only. Project general conditions and standard specifications manual can be found on the City’s website at www.cityofburnet.com

 

An optional pre-bid conference will be held on April 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the address above, at which time and place will be disclosed instructions to visit the site afterwards.

 

A bid bond security of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid or proposal. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Burnet may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.

 

After contract is awarded, the contractor will be required to furnish insurance (Texas affiliate), performance, payment, and maintenance bonds.

 

The City of reserves the right to waive any irregularity, informality, or nonconformity in the submission of a proposal or to disqualify from consideration any offeror who fails to submit requisite information. The City reserves the right to postpone proposal submission deadlines or cancel this solicitation at any time prior to execution of the contract contemplated by this RFP.

 

No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof and pricing submitted with the proposal must be valid for 90 days following the date of opening listed above.
