Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to improve the water distribution system along Eganfuskee St, Waldemar Rd. and Body Ct. in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work includes, but is not limited to: tying-in to an existing 6” PVC water main at the intersection of Eganfuskee St. and Paulina Rd. and install via open cut ±665 LF of 6” and 4” PVC C-900 east down Eganfuskee St, north on Waldemar Rd. then east down Body Ct.; two 6” and one 4” MJ isolation Gate Valves; two fire hydrant assemblies, and ±720 lbs. of ductile iron fittings; providing thrust restraint as noted in the contract documents; installation of one 1” Same Side Single Water Service, three 1” Road Crossing Single Water Services, one 2” Same Side Double Water Service, one 2” Road Crossing Single Water service, two 2” Road Crossing Double Water Services, and two Bacteriological Sample Points; disconnecting ±11 existing water services and connecting to new water services; removal and disposal of ±20 LF of Asbestos Cement Pipe; and cutting, capping, grouting & abandoning in place ±620 LF of 4” & 6” Asbestos Cement water main pipe. Repair and restoration includes removal and replacement of ±35 SY of driveways, ±405 LF of Roadway Curb; making ±350 LF of Roadway Edge Repair; and milling & resurfacing ±2,000 SY of 1” of SP-9.5 asphalt in Town of Jupiter Rights-of-Way; restore landscaping, irrigation, sod and other existing improvements. Also included in the work is notification to affected property owners, temporary traffic control, coordination with Town staff to isolate portions of the distribution system, backfill, compaction, inspection, disinfection, testing, same day restoration to restore the residents’ water service and property access, restoration and all other water distribution improvements described by the Bid Documents to like or better conditions. It is the intent of this work to provide all necessary components and appurtenances described by the Bid Documents that are required to provide a complete and operational Town of Jupiter water distribution system. ## Pre-Bid Conference NON-MANDATORY A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28th at 2:00 pm at the Town of Jupiter Water Treatment Plant, located at 17403 S. Central Blvd., Jupiter, FL 33458 within the Utilities Administration Conference Room.
