    The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is pleased to announce funding for projects that will support Disadvantaged Communities (DACs) and Potential Environmental Justice Areas (PEJAs) across New York State. This grant is designed to help small community-based organizations implement and fund projects and provide resources and education for the communities they serve. Projects can be varied, and a list of previously funded projects is available on our website. Environmental Justice Grant Programs - NYSDEC Approximately $7,000,000 is available for CIG R13 Grants. Funding for this grant opportunity is provided by the New York State Environmental Protection Fund with dollars designated to Environmental Justice. Bidders may be awarded up to $200,000 each until funding has been exhausted. Bids must be submitted through the NYS SFS Grants Management System . All Bidders must be Registered with SFS Grants Management to apply. Please visit https://grantsmanagement.ny.gov/transition-SFS to register.
