    Description

    Ulster County is soliciting sealed bids for the modernization of four (4) hydraulic passenger elevators located at two County facilities: 285 Wall Street, Kingston, New York (Ulster County Courthouse), and 368 Broadway, Kingston, New York. Each location contains two (2) elevators. The Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services necessary to complete the elevator modernization in strict accordance with the Technical Specifications prepared by Newmont Elevator Analysts, Inc., including all required testing, inspections, permits, and code compliance. The modernization will address life safety communication systems, emergency power operation, fire service operation, security integration, and ADA accessibility requirements to ensure safe, reliable, and code-compliant elevator operation consistent with applicable ASME and New York State regulations. In addition to the modernization work, the successful bidder shall provide interim maintenance services prior to completion and preventative maintenance services following modernization, as described in Section 45.0 Scope of Services. The County intends to award a single contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the complete scope of work described herein.
