    Description

The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program is an after school learning program that focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. The Menifee Union School District is soliciting proposals that align with the goals and objectives of the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, which is pupil-centered, results-driven, includes community partners, and complements, but does not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day. Menifee Union School District is accepting proposals from community partners with experience serving students in grades TK-8 to provide enrichment classes on our school sites after school.  The District intends to retain provider(s) with the background, staff, management, and expertise to provide expanded learning programming. Our needs include but not limited to providing high-quality educational enrichment opportunities for our students in the areas of athletics, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, music and theater. Schedules will be created by the Director of Expanded Learning who will work with selected vendors to create the schedule for each school site, based on need. Vendors may rotate through the District’s 16 school sites to provide opportunities for all sites at various points throughout the school year.
