    Description

    Consigli Construction is requesting subcontractor expression of interest for the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), Central New York Psychiatric Center (CNYPC) Building 39 Rehabilitation Services project. Please see the attached Expression of Interest (EOI) document for additional information. The scope of the project is to renovate a portion of the CNYPC complex. The work will be focused in an existing six story wing of the building. The approximate GSF of the work are is 101,500 GSF. The project requires enabling work as part of Phase 3A to be completed prior to the bulk of the work to be completed during Phase 3 of the project. Phase 3A work will have an expedited bid period. Phase 3A work includes but is not limited to enabling electrical work to shift patient population to a separate wing of the building. New temporary pantries will be constructed on floors 3 through 6 of the building to serve patients. Temporary pantries will require abatement of hazardous materials, new partitions, associated finishes, new doors, frames, and hardware, and associated food service equipment. New pantries will also require new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work. Phase 3 work includes but is not limited to abatement of hazardous materials, structural and non-structural demolition, new steel, existing window removal and replacement throughout the wing, replacement of the roof, brick façade repairs, complete renovation of the interior to meet updated programmatic functions including new food service equipment. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems will also be provided. Site and secure fencing work will also be required to provide a temporary construction hoist and a separate dedicated construction entrance to the facility, including a new guard house. Please note, this project is tax exempt and is subject to NYS Prevailing Wage requirements. M/WBE and SDVOB contractors are encouraged to propose on this project as project specific requirements have been identified. The requirements are 5% MBE, 4% WBE and 1% SDVOB participation. Please be sure to indicate on your proposal if you are a NYS-Certified M/WBE or SDVOB contractor. In an effort to maximize the amount of M/WBE and SDVOB involvement, Consigli Construction is willing to structure select trade scopes in such a manner that will help facilitate M/WBE and SDVOB participation.
